Your workspace, explained.

Find your way around Assets, Storyboard and Shot View. Select a screen, then follow the letters to the controls below. For workflows and step-by-step instructions, see the written Tutorial Guide.

Assets

Find and organize

A

Search

Find an asset by name.

B

Asset types

Filter by All, Actors, Locations, Props or Misc.

C

View and size

Switch between grid and list views, and adjust thumbnail size.

Import and select

D

Import Assets

Import assets from your library or other projects.

Shot List

Open the project’s shot list.

F

Select assets

Use Select all or card checkboxes. Selection reveals additional actions.

Create and edit

G

Asset cards

Open a card to edit the asset. Its menu includes Edit, Duplicate, Generate image, Preview and Delete.

H

Create Actor

Create a blank actor asset.

Agent

Open the Agent panel.

Navigate and arrange

A

Scene navigation

Jump to a scene by number. The top icon expands the navigation rail.

Add Scene

Add a scene to the story.

C

View controls

Left to right: Grid, List, shot details, dialogue, thumbnail size, Preview and Import Shots.

D

Scene header

Edit the scene number or title. The script icon opens this scene in the script.

Generate and manage

E

Full Story Images/Videos

Open generation controls for shots across the story.

F

Scene generation

Generate shot descriptions or images/videos for the current scene.

G

Editor

Open the timeline editor.

H

Delete scene

Move the scene to Trash.

Work with shots

Add Shot

Add a shot to the current scene.

Agent

Open the Agent panel.

Project settings

Open the project’s settings.

Shot cards

Click a thumbnail to open Shot View. Hover for shot actions; click the number to edit it.

Click a shot to open it. Generation controls act at story, scene or shot level.

Navigate and review

Back to Storyboard

Return to the main board.

B

Prompt actions

Copy, insert or save a prompt.

C

Modify prompt

Ask the Agent to revise the prompt.

D

New Agent thread

Start a new conversation in the Agent panel.

E

Scene and shot

See the current scene and shot. Edit the shot number; use arrows to move between shots.

F

Compare and results

Compare generated images or select a result from the thumbnails.

G

Shot actions

Left to right: Continue, Duplicate, New Shot, Download and move to Trash.

Build the image

H

Image prompt and fields

Edit the prompt and adjust shot type, framing, lens, aperture, lighting, angle, format and style.

Shot references

Add images as references. Remove a reference with its × control.

J

Dialogue

Enter dialogue and select an asset. Use Off-screen when the speaking character is out of view.

Description, direction and notes

Edit the description with its lock control, read Shot Direction, and record your own Shot Notes.

Advanced settings

Set the selected model’s available options, such as resolution.

Image model

Choose the model used to generate the image.

Generate and edit

Image count

Choose how many images to generate: 1, 2 or 4 when supported.

Add Models

Generate with multiple image models in one run.

Image tools

Left to right: Edit, Layers, Upscale, Remove Background, Create 3D World and History.

Q

Generate Image

Start generation. The button shows the estimated credit cost.

R

Shot stages and duration

Switch Image, Video or SFX/Voice. The clock sets the still image’s duration.

S

Workflow

Open the shot’s workflow view.

Model settings and credit costs vary. Continue starts a new shot using the current shot image as a reference.

Navigate and review

Back to Storyboard

Return to the main board.

B

Prompt actions

Copy, insert or save a prompt.

C

Modify prompt

Ask the Agent to revise the prompt.

Scene and shot

See the scene and shot, edit the shot number, or move between shots.

Video player

Play or pause, mute, seek, loop, use fullscreen or preview the canvas color grade.

Direct the shot

Left to right: Continue, Duplicate, New Shot, Download current media and move to Trash.

Video prompt and fields

Edit the action and camera motion. Set Camera Movement and Camera Format below the prompt.

Dialogue

Enter dialogue, select the speaking asset and set Off-screen when appropriate.

Description, direction and notes

Edit the description with its lock control, read Video Direction, and add Shot Notes.

Advanced settings and references

Open model settings. Add supported image, video or audio references below; scroll for more.

Video model

Choose the model used to generate the video.

Generate and edit

Add Models

Generate with multiple video models in one run.

Video options

Set audio, resolution, duration and frame rate. Available options depend on the model.

Start generation. The button shows the estimated credit cost.

Workflow

Open the shot’s workflow view.

Seedance reference mode shown. Other models may use first/last frames or elements; scroll to see additional reference inputs.

Image editing

Return to Shot View.

Image window

Review the selected image. The magnifier opens a closer view.

Scene and shot

See the current scene and shot. Use the header arrow to move to the next shot.

Single / Compare

Review one image or compare several generations.

History

Inspect generation details, including resolution and creation time.

Edit

Open the image editing controls.

Image Edit Model

Choose the model for the edit.

Paint

Draw on the image to mark areas you want to change.

Set model options such as quality and resolution.

Generate and apply

Select assets to incorporate into the image.

Edit prompt

Describe the change you want to make.

Add references

Add reference images for the edit prompt.

Generate Edit

Generate an edited image. Estimated credit cost appears on the button.

Use this Generation

Make the selected result the shot’s image.

Generation navigator

Select a thumbnail or use the side arrows to browse previous results.

GPT Image 2 shown. Choose a tool first; the settings and prompt controls change with the tool and model.

Video editing

Review the selected clip using the player’s playback, audio and fullscreen controls.

Scene and shot

See the current scene and shot. Use the header arrow to move to the next shot.

Single / Compare

Review one video or compare several generations.

History

Inspect generation details, including resolution and creation time.
